International Drunken Lawn Chair Bocce Association Official Rules

1. All players must always have a drink in/close at hand.

2. If any player needs to refresh his/her drink, all players must bocce to the replenishing area.

3. Home field players get first choice of ball color and will make the initial throw of the pallino. Subsequent throws are determined by ball distance from the pallino/jack ball. Closest to the pallino ball throws first, others follow in ascending order.

4. The pallino/jack ball can be thrown any distance.

5. One point is awarded for the ball closest to the pallino. After all players have thrown their ball(s), the (team or individual) closest to the pallino will be awarded one point. If a individual or teams balls are all closest, only one point for a team or individual is awarded. The point winner makes the next pallino ball throw.

6. Game players are required to throw their ball from the same general area that the original pallino/jack ball was thrown.

7. Trash talk during the game is legal and encouraged.

8. Violence is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this rule is grounds for immediate dismissal from the IDLCBA. This does not include accidental hits by passers-by but does include hitting another bocce player or Bocce groupie.

9. Alcohol consumption is mandatory, and highly encouraged.

10. The pallino can be substituted with a golf or tennis ball in times of need, deep mud, snow or other conditions that may render the pallino to be obscured.

11. Female players shall be referred to as " chick-a-la-bocces ".
Male players shall be referred to as " dick-a-la-bocces ".

12. Playing on private golf courses and cemeteries is illegal. It is, however, very tempting and has been known to happen (see rule10).

13. Nude drunken bocce is strongly recommended. It is, however, subject to your local laws and personal inhibitions.

14. Once your Lawn Chair is set in place it is to remain in place no matter the excuse.

15. You must remain seated during Bocce play (see rule 14.

16. Ball return is always in effect subject to rules 14 and 15. If you throw your Bocce ball up a hill and it returns close enough for you to pick up without breaking other rules you may re-throw it.

17. Bocce circle must always be while Drunk off your ass and must require as little effort from all participants (groupies and non-Bocce players) as possible.

69. Bocce circle leader must always be a seasoned professional and spokesperson certified by the International Drunken Lawn Chair Bocce ASSociation. Or InCertInterDrunkenAss certified.
